First Rodeo Class Series

Class 1 | The Postpartum Matters – We begin with the end in mind. You will leave this class ready to craft a practical, realistic postpartum plan.

Class 2 | The Labor GPS – You will learn the characteristics of labor stages so you can tell where you are in the process and what is still left on your journey.

Class 3 | Loving Labor – There is a profound difference between hard work and suffering. We create proactive solutions for the challenges of labor allowing space for vulnerability and surrender and joy.

Class 4 | Labor Rehearsal – We are joined by a doula to practice labor positions and learn how they can enhance your contractions, give you relief, or help reposition the baby.

Class 5 | Push It Real Good – Your most pressing birth questions are answered at this class. eh, How did I prevent/minimize tearing? Am I going to poop?

Class 6 | That Wasn’t in the Plan – This class prepares you for the unpredictable nature of birth by giving you tools to make decisions as your birth unfolds.

Class 7 | The Baby is Here, Now What? – We make time to cover newborn care 101, breastfeeding tips and tricks, and survival tactics for the early days and long nights.

Get ‘Er Done – Lightning Series

This class is for families who need to prepare for birth, but cannot accommodate a seven class series. Stages of labor, hands-on labor support, labor positions, pushing, common interventions, and birth plans get stage time.

The Postpartum Matters

Iron out logistics to maximize postpartum recovery and care for your newborn. This class touches on physical recovery, maternal mental health, breastfeeding 101, and newborn sleep.
